Purchased an enlarged Medicom head from Ian. Need to paint up the face and add hieroglyphs to his chest and arms. I will also add more hair to the back of his head, since I don't really like his profile.
Here is his profile after hair was added. No flash--camera sucks.

1:6 scale, Virdon's Outfit, TV Series Planet of the Apes
Yes...yes...I know I need to get a better human figure...This is the Sideshow Robert Patrick doll. Handsome, isn't he? I hate how my camera is taking worse and worse photos...
The shirt material was found at Goodwill. Used to be part the sleeves of a girls shirt. Very little material to play with. It was amazing I was able to tweak four shirts out of it. The pants were part of a wool mens suit also from Goodwill. The belt/fake leather vest was a fake leather fabric purchased at Joanne's Fabric.
Here are the pants for my ape buddies who also wanted "in" on the project. I am making a total of four complete outfits: belt, vest, shirt, pants and belt pack...
Here's another interesting shot:

Zira's outfit
Check out sleeve detail, which answers how I'm going to do the venting of the sleeves. I checked out the Sideshow outfit, and it's got the same sleeve detail, which I never noticed. Per one of my ape buddies, it looks like Zira is checking out Heston's "assets" in this photo from Hunter's wonderful site.
