Leather from Italy

Today I received the beautiful leather from Italy so that I could upgrade my 1:1 scale Zira costume. It's so gorgeous and smells wonderful. I will probably start this project sometime in September.

Look how cool this photo is. Dave B. photoshopped it for me. *sigh* I love looking at this photograph and will treasure it until the end of my days.

Beautiful easy basketweave knit

Photobucket

Super simple pattern of the ribbed knit going vertically

K K P P K K P P K K (on the right side); On the wrong side, knit and purl as the stitches lie.

Here is the simple pattern going horizontally:

K K K K K K K K K K; On the wrong side, knit and purl as the stitches lie.

Start enough stitches divisible by 10. Alternate your pattern so you have ribs going vertically and horizontally. Once you have completed 20 rows of the horizontal ribbing, switch the vertical and horizontal squares and keep alternating. Hope that makes sense.
